Bajaj Nagar is a busy multi-way junction that connects several residential and commercial neighbourhoods, handling traffic between residential districts, institutional zones and arterial roads across Nagpur. Shri Ram Mandir in Bajaj Nagar began about 18 years ago as a small temple and is run by the Shri Ram Seva Mandal, which holds daily recitations of the Ganesh stotra, Ramraksha and Hanuman Chalisa from Gudi Padwa through Ram Navami; a new assembly hall was built this year. Bajaj Nagar's stretch from Bajaj Nagar Chowk to Deendayal Upadhyay Chowk is among the key city roads where Nagpur Municipal Corporation demarcated marked on-street parking, part of more than 17,000 designated spaces citywide, including roughly 13,500 two-wheeler and 4,000 four-wheeler slots created to curb chaotic roadside parking and ease vehicle movement.
